Where does Stanley Homes build?

Will you build on my lot?

Yes, a good portion of Stanley Homes’ new construction is offsite building. There are different prices set for building on your own lot that do not include the lot’s value or the site work required. Site work includes, but is not limited to the following items: Clearing, Fill, Impact Fees, Tree limb clean up, Survey (all phases), Grading (all phases) Landscaping, Sod, Irrigation, Septic System, Utility connections (water, gas, sewer, electric), Driveway, Sidewalks, Culverts and in some cases special EPA permits and FPL power poles installed. All these items must be evaluated on a lot by lot basis.

 

What type of financing is accepted?

Stanley Homes will accept Construction/Permanent Loans and End Loans (check if currently available). The client is welcome to apply for VA, FHA and Conventional loans as well. Cash is welcome too and the payments are structured to coincide with the City/County inspections. Click here for more info on financing your home.

 

What does Stanley Homes require down?

The down payment is based on the type of loan you require. You qualify for VA construction to permanent loan for which we only require a $5000 deposit.  For more information please discuss this with our Sales Professionals.

 

How long does it take to build a home?

From the signing of the contract to obtaining the Certificate of Occupancy is typically 8-9 months. This period includes your contract signing, color selections, planning and review, permitting and the actual construction of the home. There are instances where this time period could be drawn out a little longer  or even be completed in less time than expected.

 

What is included in the home?

Stanley Homes includes many upgraded finishes as a standard, rather than an upgrade charge, as in the case of some other builders.  Because “The Choice Is Yours” we allow you to reduce or increase the finish levels in your custom home. Will Stanley Homes build a custom plan?

Yes, if a customer has a full set of plans that they own then Stanley Homes will price out the cost based on one of our specific finish levels or one provided by the buyer.

 

Will Stanley Homes modify their plans?

Yes, Stanley Homes will make cosmetic and structural changes to any of our plans. Everything is a possibility from adding something as simple as a summer kitchen cabana to adding an entire second floor.

 

How do I sell my current home?
